Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Aphysix ("we", "us") operates an AI-assisted assessment and learning platform for students and educational institutions, headquartered in Tamil Nadu, India. These Terms govern your use of aphysix.com and all related services.

2. Accounts

Accounts are created by you or by your institution. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential. Institutions are responsible for the accuracy of student rosters they upload. Users must be 13+ or have institutional/parental authorisation.

3. Acceptable use

You may not: attempt to extract, scrape, or bulk-download our question bank or any proprietary content; probe or breach security; resell access without a written agreement; or upload unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Intellectual property

The question bank, AI explanations, analytics, reports, OMR designs and software are the property of Aphysix or its licensors. Institutions receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use generated papers and reports for their own students.

5. Student performance data

We process assessment responses to provide scores, analytics, parent reports and personalised practice. With your explicit consent, de-identified (pseudonymised) performance data may be shared with partner colleges and scholarship programmes to surface opportunities for students. Raw identity (name, phone, email) is never shared without separate, specific consent. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Payments

Institutional subscriptions are billed per agreement. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in your contract.

7. Service availability & liability

The service is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 3 months. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

8. Data retention on termination

On termination of an institutional contract, associated personal data is purged from production systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Institutions may request an export before termination.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
